I can’t connect to the target machine over rdp… I’m connected to the vpn and am able to ping the machines. I tried using remmina and xfreerdp on my kali vm. I respawned the target machine three times and had no luck with any of them. I also tried using the pwnbox with no luck. ia htb down or something?

I just started this exercise and was having some issues too.
but not exactly the same kind!
I guess we are not allowed to connect as an RDP user with sql_dev account.
if you look at the course’s materials, they tell you to connect using mssqlclient.py.
My problem though is that the course’s provided command which seems legit did not work for me neither…
