How long does it normally take for release arena to come up? This is my first time trying to make the first 25 and it’s still showing as offline.

Edit: My error has been corrected, I checked the old format and it seems we have a different timer.

Hi,

I’m having the same problem, the option to spawn the machine is there and the countdown has expired but I still can’t access it? The release arena option under the VPN access menu is still greyed out for me, how did you get around this?

Working with in**x.a****id.bu**le I found that there should be some api endpoints? But this file is minified and obfuscated so this is taking forever. Is this even right path? Is there better way of doing this for now I just blindly trying to concate strings and hope they make some sense, for now I get like half of a valid url but this is taking forever.
Does this app ever send any request? I tried to run it with burp as proxy and wireshark in the background but never got any hit from the app :frowning:
If anyone have some tips how to do this part more efficiently that would be great.

I’m connected to the vpn and the correct name added to /etc/hosts. However I still can’t get the app to connect. I managed last night for a bit, but didn’t intercept anything. Now when I try again to intercept anything, it just says it’s unable to connect to the server. Not sure why :frowning:

are you on the release arena vpn and not the lab vpn.
There are separate VPNs for release area, lab , endgames etc

Yeah, I was on the RA vpn. I managed to get it to connect eventually but I really still don’t know why it wouldn’t work. I just closed and reconnected a few times, redownloaded the vpn file and after a bit, it worked. Some vpn issue for sure.

whenever a machine moves into or out of the release arena I have the same issue…

I seem to be completely stuck - I found the obvious download but have no idea how to run it - anyone want to message me the application name to sandbox it? Not much seems to run on kali, tried An***** S*****, g********n, a****ol, etc etc

Even tried to open the uncompressed in g***ra.

Managed to install an*****-st****

Having this issue right now. :confused:
Making me second guess my burp and proxy config.

Did your avd show connected wifi with no internet? I’m able to see other requests just not from the app

Well, l managed to install the a** on an*****-st****, but I cannot capture any network traffic incoming from the app through Burp. I can capture the requests from the android browser though (even the traffic that go through the VPN). Yes, I’m using the RA openvpn file and edited the /etc/hosts! I must be missing something very obvious I’m sure. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Any nudges would be highly appreciated!

make sure to make burp listen on all interfaces

Yeah. Same for me. Just keep getting the same “Unable to connet to the server!” message

all you need is

  • configure the burp to be open in all intefaces
  • connect the **** to a network containing your machine
  • configure the proxy and the port
