Unable to search for machines !!

I am new user.
Connected to VPN with no issues.
I got my ifconfig shows that tun0 - ipaddress is 10.10.14.28.
but i am not able to start getting what are all there is LAN in network where my machine is connected.

Could some one pl let me know?
All of the LAB machines showing in HTB, are 10.10.10.X only…
pl advise…

What happens when you ping the lab machine?

I was able to perform the map scan against the IP i mentioned.
