Trying to Learn and Understand Burp Suite Proxy Listener

I created a proxy listener on 127.0.0.1:80 and redirected all my hydra brute force traffic through this to nineveh.htb:80 for Nineveh and it worked.

Then I tried the same thing for SSL traffic and I created a listener on 127.0.0.1:443 and redirected all the traffic to nineveh.htb:443 and it didn’t work.

Am I missing some options or what because with HTTP it works but with HTTPS it doesn’t?
