I am new to HTB and am having problems connecting to the VPN I downloaded the connection packet and when I go to run the code I get this error: Options error: In [CMD-LINE]:1: Error opening configuration file: USER.ovpn. If Anyone has any suggestions I would be glad to try them.

same Issue facing 
When your VPN won’t connect, try these solutions:
Check whether your internet connection is alright.
Check your credentials.
Check whether your preferred VPN server is working.
Check if you have the right ports opened
Look for VPN software issues.
Check the firewall blocking.
Contact customer service.
Grant access.

Tengo el mismo problema y pense que podia ser problema de mi ordenador por lo que realice la siguiente prueba :
- Descargue de protonvpn un archivo .ovpn y con este archivo me conecto perfectamente, por lo que puedo concluir que no es un problema de mi ordenador ya que puedo conectarme a otras VPN, yo creo que es un problema en el archivo que uno se descarga, espero lo puedan solucionar, no obstante probare con otras versiones de linux. Por cierto muy importante al usar el gestor de VPN de ubuntu 20.04 si funciona la VPN de hackthebox.
por lo que quiere decir que la VPN si funciona, alguien mas que haya tocado con este problema y lo haya resuelto? de ante mano muchas gracias por el interes, un saludo Rokwitte.
