I liked this box because it gonna teach me a special way to obtain a reverse shell it is hard to find what you don’t know if you don’t know. But once you know it then it adds a + to your capabilities

After more 4 hours of configuring apache on my machine I’ve decided to move on. If author just implemented file upload instead this box could be actually entertaining.

I’m only getting ping to be executed. Tried everything for rev shell.
Edit: finally found right payload
To all the poor souls who, like me, struggled with the building of the VS project:
- You don’t need VS on Windows to build it
- You don’t even need VS on Mac to build it
All you need can be done in linux. Just research dotnet and how to build a project with it, study the flags you can issue inside the terminal and you’ll be golden. For the reverse shell: have you ever been to an event where you had to build something?
After you’ve done this you must focus on spinning up a git repo and learn the commands to add the project files to it. All through the terminal.

this is not really funny. Maschine is pretty slow connecting back and fetching the repo. With continuously resets super annoying… Sadly won’t solve this in time

Hi! so ive done alot of things locally, building the things and serving up the stuff over cool protocols but I cant seem to integrate that with the website… If anyone could message me and help me out just a bit that would be wonderful!

learn the basics of git bare and start git server on your machine over http.
User: you dont need to code in c# or c++. Some powershell is enough. Search what can go wrong with opening an untrusted project, and this’ll point you in the right direction.
If the application can’t pull from your local git repo, try running git update-server-info
Root: Move laterally. Then you’ll have what it takes; you’ll just need to find a way to bring back your full power.
