I am kind of new here and I am able to hack most of the easy machines.
I wonder If you can recommend to me where I should focus(what topics) If I want to be able to hack medium machines?
Just go through retired machines or focus more on RE?

Not sure if RE really come in to place in medium boxes (never seen it at a medium box)
but i would suggest you, just to have a look at the difficult rating, many times its a good indicator to see what are the “easier” medium boxes and which are harder.
Then just begin with the easier ones and work through.
if you have yet no problems with the easy boxes you should also be able to manage the medium one
