As a noob to all of this, I would love to be able to put at least SOME points on the board by solving some very easy machines that are not retired. I have watched some very experienced penetration testers struggle with some of the easy machines in ways that someone newer to it could never be expected to solve on their own yet.
Maybe they would only be worth any points at all if your rank was lower?
