On the Password attacks, Attacking SAM did all the steps Creating a Share with smbserver.py and i went to cmd prompt on the victims machine and cannot transfer it. It is giving me access denied. How can I get these files transfer? Did I miss a step or doing something wrong?
Have you tried setting up a share with username/password and mounting it?
No I did not. I am following all the steps on the page. Its just frustrating.
Try mounting smb share with creds or use any other way to upload files
You can use iwr on victim and Python HTTP server on attacker. If you need to transfer files to attacker machine, you can use psupload script.
I will give it go or try another route. Thank you
certutile be my best bet
Did you ever resolve this issue? I’m having the same problem. Defender is off so I don’t know why it would be blocking my connections. I also opened the Command Prompt as an Administrator.
I figured it out. I had to use the Python Upload Server method to transfer the files and you can dump the hashes remotely to bypass the RDP requirement.
No I havent any input be fine
I’m getting this same error. I’m working on how to mount the share using creds but having some difficulty.
