TItle mostly explains it but using a VM over a web browser is terrible, and i want to use my Pwnbox from outside of a browser (= a native external VNC and SSH client)
Is there any way to do it? Or am i forced to use a browser to use my Pwnbox?

Indeed, is why I do not use it, I hate using browsers for everything nowadays, give me good system software, no browsers, no electron or similar. My computers love me for it.

100% agreed. i tried it on Chromium and it’s not that bad but it’s borderline unusable on Firefox, which is what i use. Any wrong move from switching tabs will completely destroy your session and you’ll have to reopen the VM from HTB Labs.
I actually ended up getting a 2-day shipped SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB flashdrive (you can get these for like 10-40$ for 64-512gb depending on the storage) and flashed Kali Linux Live and added USB persistence. It’s a really cheap way to have a hacking setup for HTB (and will futurely serve for actual hacking, unlike the Pwnbox)
IMO the HTB team should really look into either making a dedicated open source VNC/SSH client for Windows/Linux/Mac just for Pwnbox, or make VNC available for any VNC client, or both
