Webpages of Active Machines not loading

I’m very much a noob still and any help will be great. I’ve completed a few easy, retired boxes and want to give the active (live) machines a go, however, their webpages aren’t loading. I have NOT had the same issue with the retired machines.

The error I get is, e.g.: We can’t connect to the server at academy.htb.

I have tried downloading a new configuration pack, which has also not worked. A google search hasnt been very fruitful.

There is a good chance you haven’t updated your hosts file.

Just edit the hosts file and add the IP address & domain name you want to resolve to that address.
