So currently I am using bridged adapter on virtualbox to connect to the internet. It works fine on ethernet, but when I try to connect via wi-fi, I cant connect to the network. To get around that, I use NAT network using port forwarding and it works but this will be troublesome for machine with lots of open ports. so what do you guys use or suggest I use for network settings? I would really like to be able to connect via wi-fi but if not possible, it’s alright
This seems to be a bug in VirtualBox with the bridged mode. You can get it working by setting the the adapter type to Intel PRO/1000 MT Server (82545EM)
(instead of the default “Intel **Desktop**” one).
