There an alert on the page about people experiencing problems with the nginx server.

“The webserver on Freelancer port 80 can take up to two minutes to start. There are issues with nginx failing on some free/vip labs. Use release arena or vip+ if you experience this.”

I took note of that but I spawned the instance right as it started and reset it an hour ago, am resetting again. I waited a bit longer than two minutes.

I take that back the notice I saw was The webserver on Freelancer can take up to two minutes to start. Thank you for confirming port 80 exists.

that’s about all i can confirm unfortunately hahaha box is living up to it’s rating :smiley:

@assquired,

Change your VPN to the ‘Release Arena’, only after I did that, did port 80 appear on the machine. Spent quite a long time poking around the machine without having port 80 being really frustrated.

Any hint? Got through some rabbit holes with no success…

I reset the machine 3 times now then waited for 10 minutes after every reset. Every time port 80 is closed…

→ also switched to release arena

The port 80 is real issue can’t get it opened after multiple resets.

try to download arena vpn and then scan

Any hint after getting admin page which direction to move on …

Use the Release Arena 1, Goto the VPN downloading page and change the server to the " Release Arena 1" , then it will work I was struggling there but that fixed the issue

I got kerberos username but now stuck on certain login page any hints would be appreciated.

You need to create some users, and then recover them

like should i create a employer account or freelancer account

both of them, then try to hack the recovery part to login as employer

Hi forum,

Does anyone know whether it will be fixed before the expiration date of Freelancer? or do we have to use arena/vip+ for the entire durance?
