I upgraded to VIP+ thinking “personal instances” would mean I would be the only person on a machine, so for example, other users wouldn’t reset a machine I half way through accessing. This doesn’t seem to be the case - am I doing something wrong?
I am connecting from linux using openvpn. I re-downloaded vpn connection file after upgrading to VIP+. I am working through the Starting Point machines.

I don’t know the answer to this (I am not VIP+ and have only looked at one of the starting point machines).
I suspect the starting point boxes might be different but if you are having issues with other users resetting it, I’d suggest raising a jira ticket with HTB if no one here can answer.
