I am trying to run some scans on ANY machine at this point to get started, but keep getting “All 1000 scanned ports on XX.XX.XX.X are filtered”. What. Is. Going. on.??? I am in a VMWare Kali 2019 machine…configuration error? I’ve reset my machine and regenerated connection packs multiple times.
Alrighty…apparently a test in patience. 
Almost like it was listening when I typed this up. All good and resolved.
