Hy guys, I’m new in that platform and I just wanna know why Crono’s dns machine is “cronos.htb”?
In the walkthrough he just added it to hosts, in etc (no prob, I understood it), but why that dns?? It’s a default for Hack the Box machines?

It’s the default DNS for that specific machine, there are other machines that require a whole different DNS to resolve back.
And how can I know the specific dns? Brute forcing it?
