Sigh...stuck on starting point #2, PHP Reverse Shell please help

So I don’t possess Parrot-OS. I had to use a different PHP shell, one made by a guy called p0wny.

This shell isn’t so much a reverse as it is a shell you just connect to by navigating to the php file you uploaded.

No other reverse shell was actually working for me. I tried metasploit and a few off github…everytime I pressed enter either the shell would instantly quit or I’d get nothing back.

Now I’m faced with a different issue…I’ve been completely unable to start Bash as suggested in the tutorial, which is preventing me from SUing to the user suggested in the tutorial…

I’m completely stuck here, and new to linux / breaking into linux…

Any suggestions?

Yeah it took me a bit to figure out something that would work. I used the tiny PHP/bash reverse shell here just to get past this challenge:

I’m also relatively new to messing around with linux but hopefully this helps you out.

In fact, you can use the webshell tool of 【Kali Linux】.

They have made it open source, you can find it here:
