Poorly worded question

Question:
Examine the registers and submit the address of EBP as the answer.

Is very poorly worded, they don’t want the address of the actual pointer…
Real question:
Examine the registers and submit the address contained in EBP as the answer

Me ranting about how stupid the question is:
I had spent the past hour trying to give the byte offset, finding the address offset then trying to work it out awkwhhdbawhbfhawbfhibawahifb
suffering, actually suffering…
I have no clue if it is my fault, but I thought it wanted the address OF the register, why did it want me to give the address the register was holding instead?
its such a stupid question, who read it and thought it was ok? I could’ve carried on learning if I knew they wanted what it was pointing to and not its actual address.

Sure, they should ask the question properly, for instance, they should it be before or after the bowfuc is called?
