Oopsie! Host seems down

hello guys, If i try the command nmap -sS -A 10.10.10.28, i got the message:

Starting Nmap 7.80 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2020-04-06 15:20 CEST
Note: Host seems down. If it is really up, but blocking our ping probes, try -Pn
Nmap done: 1 IP address (0 hosts up) scanned in 3.65 seconds

What could be the problem?

Okey i got it, i tried the command with --disable-arp-ping

me to i have seem problem if any one can help
i need help

restart your machine, make sure youre connected to the internet. download a new ovpn file from HTB. make sure you connect to the VPN… then try again.

only time i have had issues connecting to a host on HTB is due to either my internet, or because the ovpn file wasn’t connecting. This was always resolved by downloading a new ovpn file

ok bro i will try do this
thank you

Hello. I need help with Oopsie machine. When I’m trying to scan it using nmap (command: nmap -sS -A 10.10.10.28), I’m getting this message:

Starting Nmap 7.80 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2020-11-01 12:29 CET
Note: Host seems down. If it is really up, but blocking our ping probes, try -Pn
Nmap done: 1 IP address (0 hosts up) scanned in 4.51 seconds

I restarted my machine and downloaded ovpn file again. What could be a problem?

I am facing the same issue. The Oopsie machine seems to be unreachable
