Interesting challenge so far. I seem to have foothold but not sure if I am using the most efficient tool for what I am doing.
This challenge appears to be slightly altered compared to the original CTF 2022 challenge. Must have been multiple ways to solve?
Yes you have to solve it differently. It forces you to look a bit into the tools / binaries that are available and what (maybe a bit obscure) options they offer.

How will I cat/read the file? There is no option in the listing. 
You’ll have to read harder, like really hard. I missed it the first few times as well.
Previously the option for “read” was available however in the new version, the read option is removed. There are 4 options now, before there were 5 options. That’s why it is more complicated to read. I and sure this machine is easy however one of the option is removed. I’m not sure if I should get my Burpsuite open for this.
Oh… I thought you refer to reading any documentation as required.
The old route in CTF 2022 doesn’t work now as mentioned by @l1mexx.

The challenge is crashing when we set “-” as option, only the dash, nothing more.
Really nice challenge.
Check the options and the errors that come by.
