What is the best way to troubleshoot discrepancies (specifically versioning) between the Docker image and the remote server? I have my exploit working locally and on the Docker image (with it’s version of glibc) but I think my offsets are incorrect on the remote target. Is this intentional?
I found the answer to my own question: get the addresses of multiple libc symbols and plug them into libc.rip
