thank you for reading this. I am currently doing the “Getting Started” moduel and am stuck on the scanning services section I keep getting errors on the NMAP I get the following error messages
Note: Host seems down.
and when i get to the point to put the password in i get
do_connect: Connection to failed (Error NT_STATUS_NOT_FOUND)
Any assistance would greatly be appreciated

try to share the command you are using, also make sure you are properly connected to the vpn
maybe try pinging the host first with ping IP_ADDRESS, if the host is live and you are connected to the vpn yo should see some output on the lines of
64 bytes from localhost (::1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.027 ms
64 bytes from localhost (::1): icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.040 ms
in the case the ping command succeeds, you should be able to proceed with your nmap scan
