net user vs whoami /groups

Does any Windows expert know the difference between the net localgroup “Administrators” and the “BUILTIN\Administrators (S-1-5-32-544)” ? I ask because I have a case that ‘net user’ shows a user to be part of “Administrators” BUT ‘whoami /groups’ shows that he doesn’t belong in “BUILTIN\Administrators”
