I’ve managed to get both user and root flags from the retired machine “Lame”, step 1 in the beginner track. Upon submission, I get invalid flag errors. I am copy/pasting the entire length with no additional characters. Do the flags simply not work for this old box?
I’ve just ran into the same issue. Neither the user nor the root flag is accepted as correct. I checked the payload of the request, there are not additional characters or anything other than the 32 characters of each flag. Also I can see in the activity of the machine that others are apparently committing their flags without issues. I am really confused about this.
Could you resolve the issue?
