I decrypted the content of the root.txt and I tried submitting the flag, but it doesn’t accept the flag. I’ve tried multiple times for hours and even reset the machine, but still the same “incorrect flag”.

Try to switch the vpn server, for example if you are on EU Free 3, try to switch, say, to EU Free 2.
This worked for me.
Should open a support ticket too just to be sure it won’t happen again on the same server.
