*** Before I even ask about my issues, if anyone has any ‘Getting Started’ resources they know of please reply with a link (Thank you)
I’m not sure if this is normal or there is an easy workaround I dont know yet, but Ive tried all the active machines and my nmap’s keep saying that the boxs are down.
I have ovpn running and even activated one of them but I still cant ping it? Adding -Pn produces a .nmap with “1000 scanned ports are filtered” what can I do with this information?
I keep seeing in tutorials people navigating to the machine’s IP as url’s (http://10.10.10.6) and it often provides useful info. When I do this, it doesn’t load anything?
Atm im following Ippsec’s tutorials which are great, but I keep getting hung up at basic things like this. What am I doing wrong?

Hi and welcome.
It might be worth going through the Starting Point boxes as they have a lot more hand-holding than the main boxes.

There is something wrong with your connection. If you are a vip user, you need to activate the boxes and it can take a minute or two for them to become responsive.
If you aren’t a VIP user, its likely to be a VPN issue. Check the connectivity page and see if the system thinks you are connected.

It all seems to revolve around the VPN. Check that.
