HTB x ParrotOS

I’m glad to see HTB supports Parrot… since I’ve almost never used Kali.

Parrot is a great SO, and a great Team, let’s make it’s community grow.

Even i am thinking to switch from kali to Parrot os

If you have kali installed and running well then i don’t think it is needed to switch to parrot .
If it is not running well and you want somehow faster performance than kali then it could be the best option.

I switched from Kali and seems a pretty stable distribution

I like Parrot as these few days my kali is crying to update.
I was just wondering whether we can get the same built as the one hosted here  the interface looks very awesome.

I really like Parrot and this is great news. It feels more…complete

What are the PRONS/CONS of using parrot besides the hype of it? How does it relate to Kali? Same number of tools? Same distro?

in my office kali repo IPs are blocked by the firewall and parrot aren’t so at least that is a benefit when updating/installing programs via apt. it doesn’t have the same tools installed by default but it comes with the most useful ones and you can add pretty much everything kali has after you get it set up.

Anything missing from Parrot release that should be downloaded to the system that are helpful for HTB challenges?

than you for your support. we have some amazing plans for the future

Anyway I can get the HTB PwnBox in a raspberry pi 4 iso image file.
I downloaded the official parrot os raspberry pi image from their website but its in experimental phase, I can’t download Golang and other softwares and tools. any help?

wheres the writeups for the parrotos labs
