HTB Academy - Linux Privilege Escalation Privileged Groups

Hello friends,

Could anyone give me a nudge on the Academy Linux Privilege Escalation: Privileged Groups section? I have found all the directories with permissions relating to the “adm” group but am unable to find the flag. Should I be digging through everything in /var/log? I am able to root the box and find flags for other sections , but on this question I am stuck. Any help is much appreciated!

Hello. Had the same problem. Try “grep flag . -r” in /var/log. You will get the flag from apache logs.
