Well, the box is pretty straightforward and can be done in less than 2 hours. You don’t need to chain multiple vulnerabilities to exploit that.
As for how to get better, practice makes perfect.
Start with three “getting started” machines on htb.
You can also train on htb academy or/and port swigged academy.
The first machine you do in every tier (easy/medium/hard/insane) is always long and hard (the first hard machine took me about 1 month to finish).
Don’t be afraid to ask for advice on the forums as people are very helpful here.
