The solution i got was running the service foe atleasr half hour and when used gobuster enumeration for subdomain the first step to get through a 404 instead of 502 which is for bad proxy and once achieved the futher steps cna be done

I had this same problem, but while some say to wait 10-15 minutes, i had to wait something more like an hour 
But does it fix after an hour or no?
Hi All!! I am on box “three” in tier one and I have gotten to the point where I have uploaded the php shell to the s3 bucket but for whatever reason the site (thetoppers.htb/shell.php) is showing an error and not found. Even though the site: s3.thetoppers.htb is showing as “running” from a previous step…at some point that went from error state to “running” Any thoughts as to how I can get pass this last step to get the ■■■■ flag?

I think you have to add that ip and host below your localhost and above ipv5 (ip6~allnodes). It will look something like this and press tab between ip and domainname, it would be something like this
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 px15
10.129.253.7 unika.htb
10.129.36.174 s3.thetoppers.htb
ignore the uneven spaces between them it’s due to copy paste
