I’ll give a final hint and blur it as it might point out the obvious:
There are several users on the machine. Go through each folder (Documents, Downloads, Desktop, …) for all of them to find the root.txt file.

I get invalid flag for both the user.txt and root.txt when I try to submit. Is decoding these flags part of the challenge? Does anyone has the same issue?
To solve the bad flag problem you need to get a new VPN. Pick a different server and get the flags again. The new flag codes should work just fine.
I did what you just said but didn’t worked. Also when i access admin again the flag is gone now.
